The Appointment Rule Set form enables you to add or edit an appointment rule set for a gate. You can only associate one appointment rule set with a gate, but you can associate the same appointment rule set with more than one gate.

If you associate an appointment rule set with more than one gate, the associated gates will share the appointment quota defined in the appointment rule set.

After you save a new appointment rule set, you must add transaction or truck visit appointment rules in the Rules tab or Truck Visit Rules tab respectively to allow users to create appointments. Users can then create transaction or truck visit appointments in the Operations Gate Appointments view or Operations Gate Truck Visit Appointments view respectively. To add or edit an appointment rule set:

1. In the Rule Set Id field, enter an ID that uniquely identifies the appointment rule set for a gate.

2. Optionally, in the Description field, enter a brief description about the appointment rule set.

3. Click Save.
